Privacy Notes

This page provides a simple explanation of how Music Notebook handles user-created content and link previews. Please revise the wording if your final app implementation includes analytics, cloud sync, authentication, crash reporting, or third-party SDKs.

Overview

Music Notebook is designed to help users organize musical works, save performance links, and write personal listening notes. It is not a streaming service, and it does not host or distribute audio or video content.

When a user adds a web link, the app may retrieve limited preview metadata from that page in order to display information such as the page title, thumbnail image, and source website. External links are opened through the corresponding third-party website or service.

  • User-created entries for musical works and performances
  • Personal listening notes written by the user
  • Web links added by the user, such as YouTube, streaming, or concert page links
  • Preview metadata associated with those links, such as title, image, and source website

What the app is not

  • Not a streaming platform
  • Not a media download manager
  • Not a seller or distributor of music content
  • Not intended to use listening notes for advertising purposes

Suggested App Store Review Text

Music Notebook allows users to save musical works, performance entries, links, and personal listening notes. When a user adds a web link, the app may request limited preview metadata from that page, such as the title, thumbnail image, and source website, in order to display a link preview inside the app.

The app does not function as a streaming platform, does not sell audio content, and does not use saved notes for advertising purposes. Any external links opened by the user are handled by the corresponding third-party service or website.
